Anthony Joshua's next big fight can now be confirmed - he will take on Alexander Povetkin in his mandatory defence of his WBA title on the 22nd September at Wembley. It will be shown exclusively live on Sky Sports Box Office.

It puts on hold the World Unification fight against America's Deontay Wilder, with the pair becoming embroiled in a bitter war of words. If Joshua can get through this unscathed, all eyes will shift towards April where the super fight may eventually happen.

With the whole of England getting behind the football team at the World Cup where they secured their best finish since 1990, the latest installment in Joshua's already epic career will be hotly anticipated. Povetkin brings a lot of experience, and previously lost to Wladimir Klitshcko in 2013.

Boxing remains the most searched single events on MatchPint with Joshua vs Klitschko being the 2nd most searched for event ever, and the fights show enormous returns for pubs that buy the Pay-per-view rights. Joshua's win against the spirited Parker ensures that there is no slowing of the Joshua train, and you can expected punters will be looking to make the most of another excellent evening of boxing.

Publicans can list the fight immediately and should ensure that they start advertising opportunities for boxing fans to book the best seat in the house.
