MatchPint's Sports Pub Awards 2016 - The Winners
By Pete Starr
July 28, 2016

This year saw the launch of our inaugural Sports Pub Awards, looking to showcase and reward the drinking holes in London that go the extra mile to cater for their sports mad punters.

After an open nomination process, where shortlists for five categories were formed by public suggestions, sports fans then voted for which venues in the capital they think are the very finest.

See below a run down of the winners and a full list of nominees.

Congratulations to all who got nominated for a gong and especially those venues that snaffled well deserved titles. We were thrilled with the response from both pubs and sports fans and will be looking to run a bigger and better pub awards, taking into account the whole of the UK, next summer.

Make sure you follow us on Facebook/Twitter and keep your eyes peeled next spring for details of how you can nominate your favourite sports bar for an award in 2017.

Cheers,
